Internal Pics, CPU and HD info, links, etc. (modified 0 times) SiliconIce Profile There is quite a bit up already on the Xbox. Van's and HardOCP have internal pics as well as some other places. The CPU seems to be an Intel Celeron mobile 733MHz with likely 133MHz FSB, thought not positive. There seem to be two different HDDs shipping in the units, an 8GB Western Digital and a 10GB Seagate. Even a 14 inch monitor at that resolution will give a crisper picture than a TV or an HDTV. Any effort in trying to get a 20 inch monitor to work would be wasted on the XBox 11-29-2001 18:53:10

Micrsoft also claimed that VGA is technically possible with just a cable. For now, you could buy a progressive HDTV video cable for the XBOX and get a progressive -> VGA transcoder which has minimal loss to get a near native VGA display @ > 1280x1024. It cost me $80 new, but I will sell it to one of your for $40 shipped. And yes, the picture on a monitor is ALOT sharper than on a TV. 06-09-2002 12:47:37
