Anyone try a widescreen hdtv?

Hi,
I'm thinking of picking up an hdtv (widescreen) this Xmas, and I've read elsewhere that some games support wide screen (progressive scan) hdtv... anyone try this? Generally I'd trust what I read here than on an AV forum.

Thanks

It rocks!
I have a Panasonic 56" HDTV and DOA3 on XBox is beautiful!.. Not all games support Widescreen but all output 480p. one game called Test Drive ( not the Off Road version) will output 1080i.
